what do you mean when you say that the left always uses Sweden as an economic model?

I think you may compare various aspects of any country with the US, but as a whole you cant actually make a comparison between the US and any other nation that doesn’t share our distinct brand of capitalism — the circumstances are too different.

and I think most of “the left” realizes that — just because somebody may compare a Swedish policy/price with one at home doesn’t mean that they want the US to turn into Sweden. Comparing the US economy to China’s doesn’t imply support for communism.

actually, I’ve never really heard us compared to Sweden in that way. Can you give me an example?
