I think that we should wait for a couple more weeks for the full affects of the AP and IRS stories to sink in to the public. On a more general note; do you think polling is a very accurate reflection of what the public at-large thinks? Or are they too susceptible to change?
CNN announced today that the President’s approval ratings actually increased despite the reccent scandals. Why do you think this is?
It might just be that the scandals had not quite sunk in with many Americans, but I’m trying to figure out who exactly they polled. I personally find it disturbing that the President’s best source for information is the same source we have. I would think it would look bad for President Obama to look uninformed, but I’m interested to see anyone else’s response.

It’s pretty upsetting that after everything that has happened during his presidency in general, his rating approval is still pretty high. I don’t know if people are clueless or just don’t care. A lot of Americans are either misinformed or just uninformed all together. Either way, I feel like the POTUS should have a more dependable source than the general public, if he really “didn’t know what was going on.”
